Three (3) Extra Free-of-Charge Cleanup Days!

Got extra trash? Choose 3 weeks that are convenient for you, and we’ll be there to help get rid of it for you!

All Concord homeowners with regular garbage service may call Concord Disposal Service at (925) 682-9113 to schedule THREE free-of-charge pickup. We will collect up to 12 bags (32 gallon bags) or 12 boxes of household garbage or yard debris, not weighing more than 50 pounds each. If you have branches, please make sure to tie them in a bundle and that they are no wider than 18 inches by 3 feet long. Extra free-of-Charge Cleanup Days must be scheduled at least one week apart from each other.

Your Concord Disposal driver will be notified to pickup the extra items on your regular garbage day. Need to discard items right away? Just give us a call.

*PLEASE NOTE: Concord Disposal Service WILL NOT pick up Household Hazardous Waste. Concord residents can drop off their household hazardous waste at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District located at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, 94553. To find out more information about what is acceptable at the Central Sanitary Household Hazardous Waste facility, please call them at (925) 228-9500 or visit their website at: www.centralsan.org

Report Recycling Theft

Recycling theft is illegal and contributes to higher garbage rates. The City of Concord and Concord Disposal Service are partnering to help prevent future theft.

There are 3 ways to report Recycling Theft:

  1. If the theft is in progress, please call the Police Department at 671-3220.
  2. Contact Concord Disposal Service at 682-9113. *We will report it to the Police
  3. Report it by copying the link below: http://www.cityofconcord.org/living/recycle/rptrecycletheft.asp

When you report it, please try to get the following information:

  1. License Number
  2. Good description of the vehicle & person (s)
  3. Time of theft (this is helpful for those who are not in a vehicle: who visit the same street, week after week)
  4. Location/Address
