Curbside recycling takes place on a weekly
basis and is included as part of your standard residential collection
service. Your participation in this program is critical to contributing
to Concord’s mandated diversion objectives, and we appreciate your efforts.
Please help all of us in Concord improve the
effectiveness of our recycling program by ensuring that only appropriate
materials are placed in your BLUE recycling toter. While Concord Disposal
Service offers comingled recycling (you are not required to separate
recyclables into different toters) it is important to prevent non-recyclable
materials from entering the recycling “stream”.
Report Recycling Theft
Recycling theft is illegal and contributes to higher garbage rates. The City of
Concord and Concord Disposal Service are partnering to help prevent future theft.
There are 3 ways to report Recycling Theft:
If the theft is in progress, please call the Police Department at 671-3220.
Contact Concord Disposal Service at 682-9113. We will report it to the Police.

When you report it, please try to get the following information:
License Number
Good description of the vehicle & person (s)
Time of theft (this is helpful for those not in a
vehicle: who visit the same street, week after week)

PLEASE: Be advised that Concord Disposal Service
personnel are required to leave certain materials in toters or remove
from collection process for the following reasons:
- Materials are contaminated
- Materials are not included in the program
- Materials are too heavy or large
- Volume generated requires special pickup
